Private Events at the Farm
Come enjoy the beauty and tranquility of what our little slice of paradise has to offer for your special event. We host weddings, anniversary parties, family reunions, graduations, birthdays, business events, you name it!
We can fully cater your event or you can arrange your own potluck or caterer. We are flexible and will work with you to create the right experience for you.
Enjoy our charming, newly-constructed modern barn overlooking the prairie & pond, complete with a commercial kitchen, large covered porch, and an ADA bathroom. Or use our stunning new Event Hoophouse (pictured above) for some indoor/outdoor rustic vibes. Enjoy our outdoor grassy lawn areas & paths, a natural playground, and various outdoor games. The property also includes a stage and bar area. We have several acres for your group to spread out and enjoy! Read more below.
The Blue Barn
Step inside the Blue Barn and enjoy modern yet rustic indoor charm with an open floor plan perfect for hosting events. All of the wood and tin was salvaged from old, unsafe buildings that were taken down right here on the farm. The building has both heat and AC, and plenty of beautiful windows for a light and airy environment.
A tall bar, ideal for buffets, displays, or just pulling a seat up to eat, also has an optional divider to close off the kitchen or leave it open for an intimate view of the kitchen. The building is fully furnished with tables and chairs, which are easily moved if you want to use the entire space for activities, such as dancing!
This building is handicap accessible with a no stair entryway and ADA bathroom that includes a changing station. A large patio spans the entire front and wraps along the side of the building where we have additional seating.
The Event Hoophouse
Brand new in 2022!
Our beautiful new event hoophouse provides a covered, elegant space for receptions, dinners, picnics, etc. It has a rustic barn board back wall, flower garden along the front, string lights, and electricity.
For our pizza nights, we have our ping pong tables and foosball table setup for the enjoyment of our guests. These games can be part of your rental experience or they can be moved. There is a bathroom behind the event shed as well.
The Stage
Our stage includes a beautiful asymmetrical design with slanted roof to protect the band, the wedding party, or the guests of honor from the elements. It has a rustic barn board back wall, flower garden along the front, and electricity. The stage faces south and overlooks the lawn and the pond.
The Land
The farm has many beautiful spots to enjoy nature. We have walking paths, a small pond, large fields, mature trees, open grassy meadows, and of course rows and rows of crops! All certified organic for more than 13 years! We welcome our guests to walk along and enjoy any of the mowed pathways. In early spring and late fall, we have beautiful string lights throughout and solar lights to help our guests find the way when darkness falls. We have fire pits as well. Our lawn area is expansive enough to fit large rental event tents if desired.
Outdoor Activities
We have tables and chairs for groups of all sizes, as well as some smaller pop-up tents.
There’s a fun and ever growing children's natural playground with tree stumps, twig tunnel, a mound slide and even a canoe for lots of pretend play voyages. Our next project is to add a tricycle riding path around the playground.
We have numerous outdoor games that can be set up in the fields when the weather is right. The event shed may host some fun ping pong and foosball matches as well.
We currently have 4 fire pits that make a warm & cozy addition to your event.
The Bar
The farm includes a walk up bar situated between the stage and the pizza ovens. We are licensed to sell beer, ciders, and hard seltzers. We are happy to work with you to provide a wide variety of beverages and a bartender for your private event.
