Hello!

We hope you are enjoying this wonderful weather, rain and all. This is the first of four weeks of Spring Share deliveries. If you have any questions please feel free to call or email Andy. andy@macwatson.net or 608-469-2319.

If you are unsure of your pickup location, please send Andy an email or give him a jingle. We want to make sure you get and enjoy your first spring share box. If you can remember to bring a reusable bag or something to unload your produce into so we can reuse the boxes. If you are unsure on how to break the boxes down without damaging them just leave them open and we will take care of them. Keep your produce in bags in the fridge and you will have a lot less wilting and waste. If you purchased eggs for the spring share they will be in the coolers at the site.

The newsletter link is below. Have a great weekend and we hope you enjoy your first Spring Box.

Change of plans. We will be at the market tomorrow. If you come out we will be near Starbucks.

We will have pea shoots, watercress, salad and mustard mix.

Due to the weather and the fact that we spent all day getting plants in the ground, we will not be downtown tomorrow morning. Timely rain. Plants are happy. Have a great weekend!

Andy will be at the Wilmar Center today from 4-7 slinging salad, spinach, saute mix, nettles and more. The weather is not what we wanted but the greens love it!

Market Share cards will be at the tent. Just remind Andy that you have one if you're new to the market share system.

The Wilmar is at 953 Jenifer Street in Madison.

Thanks and stay warm.

Andy will be under the tent tomorrow morning bright and early on the square. Get there early for overwintered spinach, delicious hoophouse salad mix and spicy mustard saute greens. He is usually near Starbucks. If you purchased a market share this season, he will have your cards at the stand.

See you tomorrow!

We are partnering once again with Turnstone Farm to provide you with pastured eggs. The website is updated and you can add your eggs to your profile by going to http://sproutingacres.com/members/updatemembership. Just follow the directions to add eggs to your membership.

Checks should be directed to Sprouting Acres. They can be purchased online as well. They are available as an add on to a vegetable membership this year, not as a solo egg share. If you have any questions about eggs or if you are having trouble signing up send Andy an email andy@macwatson.net and he will get them added and your membership updated.

Thanks again and hopefully this is the last of the cold weather this spring.

We had a great time learning some new tricks and visiting with farmer friends in LaCrosse last week at the MOSES Organic Farming Conference. We are starting seeding in the greenhouse this week and have already seeded numerous crops in the hoophouses for those first spring shares. Don't forget to sign up if you haven't already and there are only a handful of Spring Shares available.
