Welcome to week 2 of your Sprouting Acres CSA Share

Posted 6/13/2018 11:11pm by Andy Watson.

Hello and welcome to week two of your CSA with us. We have some great new veggies and there are more to come. Peas are plumping up, zucchini is forming and more.

One side note that we forgot to mention. Our egg supplier cut their production by half over the winter and left us scrambling to find another. The eggs this season are from Christensen Farm. We have vended with them for years at our Tuesday Market and they have wonderful eggs. We just wanted to let you know of the change. We will take egg cartons back as they re-use them.

We also want to make sure everyone gets what they purchase each week so please check back at our website to visit your membership file(you can do that) to make sure you know what it is you should be picking up, or if you should be picking up at all. If you didn't order eggs, please don't take the eggs. Same goes for Family Share sized boxes. The waxed cardboard boxes are for Family shares only. These are bigger boxes and cost more. These will have names on them this week to prevent them being taken by the wrong members. We will also be blacking out the EOW shares on the pickup lists that should not be picking up anything each week. So if your name is blacked out and you are at your site, it's the wrong week. Please remember to let everyone know when you send them to the sites for the first time to check off their names(or your names).

It usually takes a week or two to get into the swing of things and we want to make sure everyone gets there and gets what is their's.

On that note, Every Other Week Shares (1/10) this week (week #2), will be at these sites. This includes EOW Family Shares.
