Welcome to Week 2 of the 2014 Sprouting Acres CSA Season

Posted 6/4/2014 11:22pm by Andy Watson.

Hello and welcome to week 2 of the 2014 season. This is the first box for the Even EOW shares. If you have an EOW share and you pick up at Waterloo/Lake Mills, Monona, 4&20, Vilas, MMSD, or Dorchester Way, you boxes need to be picked up tomorrow, Thursday, 6/5.

All you info can be found at http://www.sproutingacres.com/members/statusemail. Enter your email and you will receive a status email. This shows your balance due, pickup location, day and times. If you need help please email or call Andy.

Family size share members, look for your names on a larger 3/4 bushel box. To all other members, please only take the 5/9 bushel boxes that are not labeled if you have an EOW share or a Standard Weekly share.

Please email me in the morning if you have any questions that were not answered in this email or from checking your status. andy@macwatson.net  or 608-469-2319

If you purchased eggs they will also be labeled. Please do not take eggs if you did not order them. If you are not sure, check your status on the website. The EOW eggs follow the same pickup weeks as the EOW veggies. Check above to see if you site will have your eggs this week. They will be labeled so there shouldn't be any confusion.

Please check off your name when you pickup your items.

We are placing some piles of Fairshare bumper stickers at the sites. Feel free to take one or two.

Flower Shares start in about a month. Check out this link to learn more. http://www.turnstonefarm.com/bees-and-flowers/

Just for reference, this email and the newsletter links are always posted on the website under News/Blog as well as on Facebook. Don't forget to follow us on Facebook for current pics and news.

Lastly, if you ordered a cookbook and you did not get it with a Spring Share then look for your cookbook with your name on the cover as well. They will be sitting right next to the boxes. They can be ordered anytime. Just let me know if you would like one. They are both great books for using seasonal produce.

Below is the link for the newsletter. If you have troubles opening it, you can try the website as well. It will be under the most recent news/blog area.
